Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
- Utilize various inspection tools to verify dimensional accuracy and ensure parts meet specifications.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, documenting findings accurately for review and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, non-conformances, and quality assurance activities in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, and QA/QC practices.
- Familiarity with calibration and use of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify root causes of quality issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
