You will work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to manage multi-phase programs, remove delivery friction, and ensure outcomes stay tied to priority objectives, timelines, and measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery for multiple workstreams and phased initiatives, ensuring clear scope, sequencing, and accountability.
- Use Jira and Confluence as primary systems for planning, tracking, documentation, reporting, and team coordination.
- Create and maintain delivery visibility using metrics such as velocity, cycle time, burndown, and tailored dashboards to improve forecasting and performance.
- Apply and adapt Agile approaches across teams, with working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile practices.
- Facilitate core team routines including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews/demos, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Drive proactive, transparent stakeholder communication, clarifying priorities, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
- Lead structured, outcome-driven meetings that move work forward and keep teams aligned on goals and next actions.
- Ensure execution remains aligned to business objectives and delivery commitments, escalating and resolving blockers as needed.
- Operate effectively in a PMO-style environment, balancing competing priorities while supporting operational scalability across teams.
- Blend hands-on coordination with forward-looking planning to align delivery work with broader enterprise direction.
- Perform well amid ambiguity and frequent change, adjusting plans quickly while maintaining momentum.
- Serve as a dependable partner across functions, flexing between teams and initiatives as needs shift.
- Promote continuous improvement using data, feedback loops, and pragmatic experimentation.
- Identify process and tooling enhancements that increase reliability, efficiency, and stakeholder experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of project management experience within financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stage initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and delivery phases.
- Preferred certifications: PMP, Agile certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PRINCE2, or Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Preferred: strong proficiency with project and portfolio management tooling, especially Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence).
- Strategic and execution-oriented mindset: connects delivery work to business outcomes while handling day-to-day mechanics.
- Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable engaging executives, peers, and delivery teams.
- High-quality problem solving, able to navigate surprises and drive resolution without losing momentum.
- Risk and dependency management: identifies issues early, mitigates effectively, and keeps stakeholders informed.
