About the Role
As part of our Product Management team, you’ll work closely with one or two Scrum teams to help guide their work, from concept through delivery. You’ll play a key role in translating product strategy into actionable stories and ensuring our teams are building the right solutions for our customers.
You’ll be at the center of cutting-edge innovation, including new capabilities that leverage your knowledge of credit/debit card payments, banking and IRS regulatory requirements, and healthcare consumer technology. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the voice of the customer and the bridge between business and engineering teams.
- Develop, refine, and maintain the product backlog for one or more Scrum teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align backlog items with the overall product roadmap.
- Translate complex requirements (e.g., IRS, banking, or healthcare rules) into actionable product stories and acceptance criteria.
- Validate solutions through continuous feedback loops with users and stakeholders.
- Help ensure every release delivers measurable business and user value.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience delivering production-ready software products and at least 4 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in an agile software environment.
- Strong understanding of agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working directly with development teams.
- Experience in financial services, payments, or compliance-driven products (credit/debit card transactions, IRS 6050W or 1099 reporting, or banking integrations).
- Healthcare or insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable backlog items.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills
- Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent).
- Experience with consumer-facing fintech or health tech applications.
- Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations (HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Comfortable with analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
