Talon Hiring Solutions has an architectural client in the Hoover, AL area that is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join an exciting team. The Marketing Assistant will coordinate proposal and qualification submissions (RFQs/RFPs), including writing, editing, and assembling content to meet deadlines. This role will maintain and update the firm's project portfolio, and the creation of marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency across firms in the platform.
What you will do:
- Coordinate proposal and qualification submissions (RFQs/RFPs), including writing, editing, and assembling content to meet deadlines
- Enter and maintain accurate sales notes and a current pipeline in the firm's CRM system, logging client interactions, meeting summaries, follow-up actions, and lead status updates on behalf of principals and business
- Development staff
- Maintain and update the firm's project portfolio, staff bios, and image library, ensuring all marketing materials are current and on brand
- Assist with the preparation of presentations, interview materials, and leave-behinds for new business pursuits
- Manage the firm's social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant channels
- Draft and edit content for the website, email newsletters, and award submissions
- Support the planning and coordination of events, speaking engagements, and conference participation
- Track marketing deadlines, submission calendars, and business development activity across the team
- Perform general administrative support for the marketing and business development department as needed
What you will do:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years related experience
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Possess a Strong work ethic and enjoy working in an fast paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business (i.e., firm owners, administration and staff).
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks unsupervised.
- Strong attention to detail is a must.
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver), Hubspot.
- Must also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Salary : $52,000 - $55,000
