Talon Hiring Solutions has a client in the Hoover, AL that is looking for a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) to join a fast-paced, independent wealth management and financial planning firm. This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive financial planning services to high-net-worth individuals and families, helping clients define and achieve their long-term financial goals.
What you will do:
- Conduct detailed client interviews to assess full financial situations, goals, and risk tolerance
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive financial plans
- Create tailored strategies for wealth accumulation, income planning, tax optimization, and risk management
- Utilize financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro) to build and maintain accurate plans
- Prepare and present client-ready reports, recommendations, and financial narratives
- Maintain accurate client data and engagement through CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure high-quality client service and plan execution
What you will bring:
- CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- Experience in tax strategy
- Advanced certifications (CPA, CLU, ChFC, CEPA, MBA) are a plus
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients preferred
- Knowledge of life, health, disability, and long-term care insurance products
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
