What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Coordinator position at Tally Kombucha?
As the Event Coordinator Assistant, you will assist the CEO and Marketing team with all community-based outreach, community events and in house events. You will be responsible for executing face-to-face and virtual events and participating in informative conversations with community members/ business owners about how collaborating with us helps provide life changing products to our community near and far.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with community events with the goal of increasing brand awareness and customers
- Educate potential community partners/members about our mission and purpose
- Respond to community partners/members and customer questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner 24hr turnaround
- Maintain accurate records of clients interactions and sales data
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and plan PR materials for events
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve knowledge and skills
- Gather feedback in order to improve the event experience and retention
- Assist with organizing and preparing promotional materials with the marketing manager/team
- Responsible for setting up events & Responsible for closing down events that we host
- Facilitate promotional marketing during events
- Collaborate with CEO and Marketing on sales strategies
- Merchandising and inventory management for events
- Use CRM to Record and track all sales
- Answer all customer questions and escalate concerns before/during/after events
- Alert CEO and Production team of what is needed for each event
- Update the Event Calendar
- Come up with a Event Planning Method/Template
- Event Vendor Method/ template
Event Assistant Qualifications:
- Must be able to commute to our office and travel locally to events
- Must be able to work some evenings and weekends
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be comfortable speaking in front of large and small groups
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Proven experience in event management or related field (1 years)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
- Budgeting experience for events of various sizes
- Proficient in communication to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
