Associate, Financial Operations – Renewable Energy Platform

A leading distributed generation (DG) renewable energy platform is seeking a Financial Operations Associate to support the management and growth of its national solar portfolio. The firm develops, finances, owns, and operates commercial, industrial, and community-scale solar assets across the U.S., backed by long-term institutional capital.
Role Overview
This role will support the Director of Financial Operations in overseeing the financial backbone of a rapidly expanding portfolio. The successful candidate will help manage project-level financings, ensure data and process integrity across systems, and contribute to ongoing operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities
- Support construction loan and project financing closings in collaboration with lenders, legal counsel, and internal teams.
- Manage draw processes, fund disbursements, and capital activity tracking across multiple projects and investment vehicles.
- Maintain structured documentation, dashboards, and compliance reporting for lenders and investors.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Project Management teams to ensure smooth and timely capital deployment.
- Prepare portfolio-level analyses highlighting trends, performance, and areas for improvement.
- Contribute to system and process enhancements to improve financial visibility and efficiency.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in financial operations, project finance, or fund operations within infrastructure, banking, or renewable energy.
- Exposure to construction loans, capital tracking, or fund-level reporting is a strong plus.
- Highly analytical and organized, with strong Excel skills and comfort working across multiple financial systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
