Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical conditions and functional abilities.
- Develop individualized care plans that address the specific needs of each patient.
- Implement treatment programs utilizing various therapeutic techniques, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on the rehabilitation process, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, including discharge planning for inpatient cases.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with clinic policies.
- A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly in orthopedics or home community care.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is essential for effective communication and treatment planning.
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and systems used in patient care will be advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
