Primary
Responsibilities Include:
- Design a budget that guarantees
customer satisfaction and quality of services while keeping expenses
controlled and profit margins maximized
- Collaborate with hotel department
leaders to define goals and objectives that are compatible with the
overall hotel goals, as well as strategies for achieving them
- Provide the vision, leadership,
and strategy that inspires your staff to deliver exceptional guest service
that drives financial success
- Enhance the hotel's reputation
for quality by inspecting the cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms, public
areas, and surrounding grounds
- Construct and manage a
straightforward and effective marketing strategy to promote the hotel's
services and amenities
Successful
Candidates Must Have:
- High
school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s
degree in business or a similar field is a plus
- Previous experience as a hotel
manager, assistant manager, or other hotel department manager required
- Exhibit excellent organizational,
communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Must have at least 5 or more
years of experience in the hospitality field
- Ability to work in a
fast-paced work environment and adapt to change quickly
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Schedule
varies according to business demands and needs
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and
human relations skills that positively benefit interaction with staff, partners,
and external clientele
- Ability to work both independently and
as part of a team
- Must be
detail-oriented, able to plan, prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
environment
- Computer skills,
with a strong working knowledge of the primary Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
and safe manner
