Compensation: $100,000 – $135,000 base salary bonus potential

A well-established Texas-based General Contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects in the Brownsville market.

The company operates with a lean, hands-on structure and is looking for a Superintendent who can take ownership of projects, lead from the field, and keep work moving safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations from mobilization through project completion
- Manage subcontractors, schedules, site logistics, and inspections
- Coordinate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and ownership teams
- Ensure projects remain on schedule and within quality expectations
- Conduct safety meetings and maintain OSHA compliance on-site
- Review construction documents, drawings, RFIs, and subcontractor scopes
- Lead site coordination meetings and maintain accurate daily reports
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays
- Maintain strong communication with clients and internal leadership
Qualifications
- 5 years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
- Experience managing ground-up and/or major renovation projects
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and sequencing
- Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain jobsite organization
- Experience with scheduling software and construction management platforms such as Procore or MS Project preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- OSHA certification preferred
- Stable work history with proven project success
