The Opportunity
An established commercial roofing contractor is looking for an experienced Sales / Client Services Manager to grow and manage commercial accounts throughout the Tulsa market.
This is more than a traditional sales position. We're looking for someone who understands commercial roofing, customers and the technical side of developing the right solution.
You'll work directly with building owners, facility managers and property managers to identify roofing needs, develop solutions and build long-term relationships.
The role combines new business development, account management, roof inspections, estimating and long-term roof planning.
What You'll Do
Develop new commercial roofing accounts throughout the Tulsa market
Manage and grow existing customer relationships
Build relationships with building owners, facility managers, property managers and other commercial decision-makers
Generate opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting and direct business development
Conduct commercial roof inspections and identify repair, maintenance, restoration and replacement opportunities
Sell:
Commercial roof repairs
Preventative maintenance agreements
Reroof projects
Roof coatings and restoration
Waterproofing solutions
Develop scopes and estimates for larger repairs and reroof opportunities
Prepare and present proposals directly to customers
Help customers develop long-term roof plans and capital budgets
Maintain an active sales pipeline and customer activity through CRM
Manage opportunities from initial contact through proposal and award
Coordinate with estimating, operations and field teams to ensure a smooth handoff after the sale
Work directly with local leadership to grow the Tulsa market
What We're Looking For
2 years of sales, business development or account-management experience
Commercial roofing or construction experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of commercial roofing systems, repairs, maintenance and reroofing
Comfortable getting on commercial roofs and identifying potential problems and solutions
Estimating, takeoff or scope-development experience is highly valuable
Ability to develop new customers rather than relying solely on inbound opportunities
Comfortable prospecting, networking and asking for referrals
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Ability to manage opportunities and follow through from initial conversation to award
