The
Opportunity
- Compensation: $129,000 – $145,000 / year.
- Leadership: Manage quality engineers, inspectors, and
administrators while driving continuous improvement.
- Impact: Develop QA programs for complex aircraft cabin
assemblies and oversee QMS compliance with AS9100 and FAA regulations.
Core
Responsibilities
- Implement APQP and PFMEA to create
fail-safe manufacturing processes.
- Manage internal and external audit readiness (customer
and third-party).
- Monitor Cost of Quality KPIs and identify
contractual risks.
- Lead corrective/preventive action processes and
statistical product acceptance.
- Interface directly with Supply Chain, Engineering, and
customers on quality issues.
Requirements
Required
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s 2 years OR Bachelor’s 5 years of
progressive experience in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related
field.
- Experience: 5 years in Quality Assurance, including 3 years in aircraft
cabin interior assembly.
- Technical Mastery: * 2 years with APQP, PFMEA, and MRP/ERP
systems (SysPro/UniPoint preferred).
- Expertise in Boeing BAC/D6 procedures and AS9138 statistical requirements.
- Proficiency in FaroArm/Verisurf metrology and
technical writing for FAA Part 21/145.
- Strong grasp of Lean Six-Sigma, TQM, and statistics.
Domestic/International
travel up to 10%.
