Our client is a design-build contractor that specializes in federal healthcare projects at military installations. They serve across the nation from their headquarters in Reston, Virginia. They have an immediate opening for a Project Manager in West Point, NY. This role will be part of an on-going project at Keller Hospital.
General Job Duties :
- Participate in design review process.
- Oversee construction lifecycle, from mobilization to close-out.
- Prepare, manage, and update project schedules to ensure timely project completion.
- Review submittal and RFI’s, including subcontractor submissions, for accuracy prior to submission to owner or designer of record.
- Act as lead for preconstruction and preplanning activities to ensure project is completed in accordance with the contract documents and within budgetary constraints.
- Project documentation processing to include daily reports, pay applications, submittals, RFI’s, warranty information, close out documents, record drawings and all final release documents.
- Material buyouts and ordering to ensure project schedule is met.
- Candidate will act as liaison and manage all communications / meetings between customer, company, and subcontractors.
- Financial oversite to include preparation of project forecasts and work in progress schedules as required.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
