Job Title: Audit Senior

Introduction:

The Audit Senior position is a crucial role within our team at a large nonprofit CPA firm. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing and executing multiple audit engagements, building strong client relationships, and ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute multiple audit engagements simultaneously
• Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted advisor
• Develop engagement timelines, budgets, and project plans
• Research and resolve technical audit and accounting issues
• Review and prepare financial statements and related disclosures
• Support engagement administration and audit procedures
• Assist with business development efforts and client growth initiatives
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior audit staff
• Maintain high-quality standards and ensure engagement completion within deadlines

Requirements:

• CPA certification or active CPA track preferred
• Experience with Form 990 preparation and review
• Single audit experience preferred
• ERISA audit experience considered a plus
• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Accounting
• Experience with QuickBooks and audit engagement software platforms
