Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, and providing valuable insights to enhance our clients' operations. The Audit Senior will play a key role in managing audit teams and maintaining strong client relationships while assessing and mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion
- Perform risk assessments and develop audit strategies
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and other accounting standards
- Review internal controls and recommend improvements
- Prepare clear and comprehensive documentation of audit findings
- Conduct financial analysis and assist in financial reporting
- Collaborate with clients to provide insights and recommendations
- Train and mentor junior staff members
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and trends
- Communicate audit results and findings to stakeholders effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of audit experience in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of SOX, GAAP, and financial reporting standards
- Experience with risk assessment and internal controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated team leadership and mentoring abilities
- Familiarity with taxation and compliance issues
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
