Job Title: SMT Quality Engineer
Location: Holly, MI
Schedule: Full-time | Onsite | Monday–Friday
Compensation: $85,000 – $110,000 annually
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification preferred OR willingness to obtain CQE certification within 2 years
- Strong electrical engineering background
- Hands-on SMT (Surface Mount Technology) experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and improve manufacturing quality processes and systems
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within SMT operations
- Participate in audits, inspections, and quality documentation activities
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical engineering and Surface Mount Technology (SMT), preferably within a plant/manufacturing setting.
