Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage government contracts.
- Advise on compliance with federal, state, and local procurement regulations.
- Assist with proposal preparation.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including compliance, product, engineering, and finance.
- Advise on IP, data rights, privacy, and cybersecurity.
- Create and maintain standardized contract templates to streamline and scale government contracting workflows.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations.
Must-Have Skills:
- J.D. and an active state bar membership.
- 8 years of relevant experience in government contracts law.
- Technology industry experience.
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex government contracts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience advising on government contracts related to software, artificial intelligence, cloud-based offerings, or data-driven technologies.
- Familiarity with procurement and contracting frameworks used by the DoD, intelligence community, or civilian government entities.
- Active security clearance.
Salary : $220,000 - $300,000
