Salary: $220K - $300K plus equity

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage government contracts.
• Advise on compliance with federal, state, and local procurement regulations.
• Assist with proposal preparation.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including compliance, product, engineering, and finance.
• Advise on IP, data rights, privacy, and cybersecurity.
• Create and maintain standardized contract templates to streamline and scale government contracting workflows.
• Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Must-Have Skills:

• J.D. and an active state bar membership.
• 8 years of relevant experience in government contracts law.
• Technology industry experience.
• Extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex government contracts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience advising on government contracts related to software, artificial intelligence, cloud-based offerings, or data-driven technologies.
• Familiarity with procurement and contracting frameworks used by the DoD, intelligence community, or civilian government entities.
• Active security clearance.
