The Opportunity:

Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Review welding procedures and specifications for alignment with customer requirements and ASME codes.
- Provide guidance and support to welding personnel to guarantee proper execution of welding activities.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all welding activities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to integrate welding activities into overall project plans.
- Inspect fabricated vessels and skidded systems, including in‑house fabrication of PVC internal vessel components.
- Submit inspection documentation, photos, and reports as required for each inspection.
- Maintain strong working relationships with supplier quality control personnel.
Must-Have Skills:
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential.
- Extensive experience inspecting PVDF, PP, and PVC piping welds for high‑purity applications.
- Knowledge of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Welder Qualification Test Record (WQTR), and Procedure Qualification Record (PQR).
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Teams.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and use mechanical measuring equipment.
- Strong understanding of ASME B31.3, ASTM, ASME, and D1.1 codes.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in water treatment or related industrial environments.
- Familiarity with NACE corrosion standards.
- Background in fabrication of internal vessel components.
- Exposure to advanced inspection technologies such as digital imaging or ultrasonic testing.
- Knowledge of project management principles and collaborative software tools.
