Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide the Occupational Health program with an emphasis on both direct patient care and administrative strategy.
- Mentor and support a clinical team of PAs/NPs, fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment.
- Assess and treat work-related and non-work-related illnesses and injuries.
- Lead medical surveillance, fit-for-duty, and pre-placement evaluations ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Provide urgent care and stabilization for patients needing higher-level treatment.
- Collaborate closely with clients on occupational health initiatives and solutions.
- Uphold a focus on patient-centered care, service excellence, and continuous improvement of health outcomes.
- Contribute to the administrative and policy leadership shaping department protocols and direction.
Must-Have Skills:
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Illinois and Iowa (willing to help obtain)
- Board Certified in Occupational Medicine or another relevant specialty (Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, etc.).
- Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
- Commitment to service excellence and a patient-centered, collaborative approach.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Active medical license in Wisconsin.
- Experience with improving and streamlining Occupational Health programs in large organizations.
- Background in mentoring newly boarded physicians or clinicians.
- Knowledge of EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) best practices.
- Experience working within a Fortune 500 or similarly complex corporate environment.
