Salary: $125,000-$155,000 10-20% bonus incentive

This opportunity offers a hands-on finance leadership role with meaningful influence over property performance, operational efficiency, and long-term profitability. As Director of Finance, you will partner closely with hotel leadership, ownership, and operational teams while leading an established finance function in a collaborative, service-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all accounting and financial operations for the hotel.
• Oversee monthly financial close, reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.
• Partner with hotel leadership to identify opportunities that improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Provide clear, actionable financial insights to ownership and senior leadership.
• Manage ownership reporting and respond effectively to financial requests and expectations.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support financial system implementations, process improvements, and technology initiatives.
• Lead, develop, and support the finance team.
• Collaborate with operations, food and beverage, sales, and other departments to achieve financial goals.
• Serve as a strategic business partner to the General Manager and hotel leadership team.

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least five years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of hotel accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Experience with property-level financial operations and decentralized accounting processes.
• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with ownership, senior leadership, and operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Previous experience as a Director of Finance, Assistant Director of Finance, Controller, or similar hospitality finance leader.
• Experience with Opera Cloud, Toast, Workday, ProfitSword, or comparable hospitality technology.
• Background supporting a full-service hotel with multiple revenue centers.
• Experience leading financial system implementations and process improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of ownership reporting requirements and hotel investment performance.
• Experience managing and developing a small finance team.
