Overview

TalentFish is casting a line for an experienced Project Sourcing Manager to support a growing portfolio of enterprise technology and capital projects.

This is not a transactional purchasing role.

We're looking for a strategic sourcing professional who has successfully negotiated complex IT procurement agreements while also managing sourcing activities for large capital projects. The ideal candidate understands how to partner with technical teams, manage suppliers, negotiate favorable commercial terms, and keep critical projects moving on schedule.

If you've sourced enterprise technology, infrastructure, networking, data center equipment, AV systems, laboratory infrastructure, manufacturing technology, HVAC, electrical systems, or other highly engineered capital equipment, we'd love to speak with you.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management experience
• Strong background negotiating IT procurement agreements and technology contracts
• Experience sourcing enterprise technology, infrastructure, software, hardware, telecommunications, networking, cloud services, or related IT solutions
• Experience managing procurement activities supporting capital projects or major infrastructure initiatives
• Demonstrated success leading competitive RFQ/RFP processes
• Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills
• Experience partnering with engineering, construction, IT, finance, legal, and business stakeholders
• Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree required

• Highly engineered or custom-built equipment
• Manufacturing or industrial environments
• Contract lifecycle management
• ERP or procurement systems
• Master's degree

What You'll Do

• Lead sourcing strategy for complex technology and capital project initiatives
• Manage end-to-end RFQ/RFP processes
• Evaluate suppliers and negotiate commercial agreements
• Partner with project teams to align sourcing milestones with overall project schedules
• Manage supplier performance, risk, quality, and delivery commitments
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, warranties, and service agreements
• Support cross-functional teams including Engineering, IT, Finance, Legal, and Operations
• Identify cost savings and value engineering opportunities
• Resolve supplier issues while minimizing project risk
• Drive procurement best practices throughout the project lifecycle
