### Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate from an accredited Ultrasound program required
- Current ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB), or Vascular (RVT); or CCI Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS); or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or ARRT-Vascular Sonography (ARRT-VS) certification required (state/facility requirements apply)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification from an approved provider required
- Multiple specialty certifications preferred where applicable
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and patient care
- Excellent communication, technical, and documentation skills
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using established imaging protocols.
- Produce high-quality ultrasound images of organs, tissues, blood vessels, and other anatomical structures for physician interpretation.
- Document, verify, and present imaging findings, measurements, and calculations accurately.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures and explain examination processes.
- Position patients appropriately and monitor patient condition throughout examinations.
- Observe for adverse reactions or complications and respond appropriately.
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and billing information.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Verify operational readiness and perform routine equipment checks and maintenance.
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient procedures.
- Mentor and support ultrasound staff as assigned.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
