Travel RN - Med Surg/Telemetry | Northport, AL | 3x12 Nights | Travel Contract | Competitive Pay

Experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RNs are needed for a 13-week travel assignment in Northport, Alabama.

This is a night-shift, 36-hour assignment supporting a multi-specialty acute care unit with Med Surg, Telemetry, surgical, orthopedic, dialysis and higher-acuity patient populations.

Assignment Highlights

• 13-week contract

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• 36 hours/week

• Every other weekend

• Holidays as required

• Locals accepted

• Approximate ratio: 1:6

• Meditech charting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Med Surg/Telemetry patients

• Manage telemetry monitoring and acute medical needs

• Support surgical and orthopedic patient populations

• Coordinate care with nursing and interdisciplinary teams

• Float to other appropriate units when required

Requirements

• AL or Compact RN license

• Minimum ASN degree

• BLS – AHA or American Red Cross

• 2 years of RN experience preferred; 18 months may be considered

• At least 1 year of recent relevant specialty experience

• Must be comfortable floating
