Position Summary

Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective nursing care to Med Surg/Telemetry patients
- Monitor, assess, and record patient vital signs and progress
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care plans
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital policies
Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- AHA or Red Cross BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- Active Alabama RN license or Compact State License
- No temporary licenses accepted
- Must be verifiable via NURSYS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Will consider candidates with 18 months of experience under a full professional license
- At least 1 year in the specialty (Med Surg/Telemetry) required
