Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Carlsbad, NM. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Med Surg unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to hospital standards
- Monitor and document patient status, medications, and treatment responses
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes
- Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and patient care policies
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Licensure: Active NM RN license or Compact License
- Certifications:
- Required: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
- Preferred: PALS
- Flexibility: Must be willing to float as needed
- Shift: Nights | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Schedule: 3x12s per week
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Floating: Required
