As a Travel PT, you’ll conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver high-quality therapy to support patient recovery and functional improvement. You’ll collaborate closely with the care team and ensure documentation meets state and facility standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Create and update customized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to enhance mobility and reduce pain
- Document services accurately and efficiently
- Educate patients and families on home programs and goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff
- Supervise PTAs (if applicable per Alaska practice laws)
- Graduate of an accredited PT program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)
- Active Alaska PT license or ability to obtain
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a travel setting
- AHA BLS preferred
