• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts (exact schedule determined by manager)
• Call:
• 2 days per week
• 2 weekends per month
  

Job Summary

We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technician to join a dynamic surgical team within the Cherokee Nation healthcare system. This is a high-impact backfill role, ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced operating room environment and is committed to excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments
• Assist surgeons during procedures with precision and efficiency
• Handle, label, and transport specimens to the laboratory per protocol
• Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and surgical instruments
• Prepare patients for surgery (washing, shaving, disinfecting incision sites)
• Support patient transport as needed
• Stay current with surgical trends, tools, and best practices through ongoing education
• Assist in clinic settings, including:
• Rooming patients
• Taking vital signs
• Managing orders and routing calls
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
