Education & Experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Prior med-surg or acute care nursing experience (Preferred)
- Current RN license in state of practice (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
- Performs comprehensive patient assessments and develops individualized plans of care.
- Administers medications and treatments per physician orders and unit protocols.
- Monitors patients for changes in condition and intervenes or escalates care as appropriate.
- Provides wound care, post-surgical monitoring, and assistance with activities of daily living.
- Educates patients and families on disease management, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Documents assessments, interventions, and patient response in the medical record.
