Requirements
- Active California RN License
- Minimum 5 years ICU experience preferred
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience required
- Strong critical care skills in a trauma-designated ICU
- Ability to manage staffing, workflows, and clinical escalation needs
- RN License (CA) – Required
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- ACLS (AHA) – Required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Master’s Degree (preferred)
- ICU leadership or charge nurse experience
- Clinical specialty certification
- Medical ICU (Trauma Level Unit)
- 162-bed acute care facility
- Level III NICU onsite
- Community trauma center designation
- Cerner EMR (facility-wide)
- No call requirement
- Supervise and coordinate ICU nursing staff
- Manage daily staffing assignments and acuity balancing
- Support performance evaluations and staff coaching
- Assist with quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians, Nurse Manager, and Director
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards
- Day Shift: 06:30–19:00
- 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Schedule based on department needs
- No call
