Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to ER patients during night shifts.
- Stabilize patients, administer medications, and monitor vital signs in critical situations.
- Assess patient condition and document findings accurately in electronic health records.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to determine treatment plans.
- Prioritize patient flow and manage triage efficiently to reduce wait times.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance patient outcomes.
- Communicate clearly with patients and families, conveying care plans and discharge instructions.
- Demonstrate continuous learning by updating skills and applying evidence-based practices.
- Mentor junior staff and provide guidance to teammates during night shifts.
- Utilize performance metrics and pipelines to track personal and department targets.
- Active RN license with valid (state) registration and BLS certification.
- Nurse with minimum 2 years ER or acute care experience, night shift.
- Strong triage and rapid assessment skills for high-acuity patients.
- Proficient EHR documentation with accurate clinical notes and coding basics.
- Ability to administer meds, monitor vitals, and initiate emergency interventions.
- Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
- On-site position located in Tucson, AZ — work from our local office and be part of the team in person
