Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, and treat primary care patients
- Manage acute and chronic conditions for patients of all ages
- Develop and follow evidence-based care plans
- Prescribe medications and order labs, imaging, or referrals as needed
- Educate patients on preventive care, medications, lifestyle, and wellness
- Coordinate care with nursing, pharmacy, behavioral health, and specialty teams
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record
- Support quality measures, productivity goals, and patient care standards
- Minimum of 1 year of Primary Care experience required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Comfortable treating patients of all ages
- Experience managing both acute and chronic care needs
- Able to see approximately 2.5–3 patients per hour
- Strong EHR, communication, and care coordination skills
- Must be flexible with scheduling and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Unrestricted Oklahoma medical license required, or active IMLC with Oklahoma license application submitted at time of submission
- Board Certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- BLS certification required
- OBNDD registration required
