Responsibilities
- Provide and document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing therapy sessions and modalities.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records.
- Monitor patient responses and report progress or adverse events promptly.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, home programs, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with clinical policies, safety standards, and privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Support performance targets by contributing to daily/weekly treatment pipelines.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and skill enhancement.
- Support patient safety initiatives and identify potential risk factors in the clinic environment.
- Assist with inventory management of therapy supplies and equipment.
- Demonstrate reliability by meeting scheduled shifts and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Licensed or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant with state approval.
- Document assessments, plans, and progress notes in electronic health records.
- Assist licensed therapists in delivering therapy sessions and modalities.
- Monitor patient responses; report progress and adverse events promptly.
- Ensure compliance with clinical policies, safety standards, and privacy regulations.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and home programs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care coordination and discharge planning.
- Contribute to daily/weekly treatment pipelines to support performance targets.
- Maintain inventory of therapy supplies and equipment; assist with ordering.
- Demonstrate reliability with scheduled shifts and professional demeanor.
