Education & Experience
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, or accredited degree in physical therapy: Required
- Physical therapy clinical experience: Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Physical Therapist licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations and establish individualized plans of care.
- Deliver therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training and modalities.
- Set measurable goals and track patient progress.
- Supervise physical therapist assistants and aides as appropriate.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safety.
- Document evaluations, treatments and discharge planning accurately.
Salary : $52 - $54
