Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately during overnight shifts with attention to safety checks.
- Review and verify prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Identify and resolve medication-related problems and safety concerns.
- Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws, safety protocols, and facility policies.
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Manage inventory, including stock control, ordering, and expiration tracking.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all dispensing activities and interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize therapeutic outcomes for patients.
- Monitor medication usage trends and contribute to performance dashboards.
- Support quality assurance initiatives and participate in process improvement projects.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to ongoing professional development.
- Utilize pipelines and territory data to forecast demand and staffing needs.
- Active Pharmacist license in the applicable state or country.
- Overnight shifts availability with ability to handle high workload safely.
- Accurate dispensing during night hours with strict safety checks.
- Prescription review for legality, contraindications, and interactions.
- Patient counseling on usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Inventory management including stock control, ordering, and expiration tracking.
- Documentation of dispensing activities and clinical interventions.
- Quality assurance participation and process improvement project involvement.
- Collaboration with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Forecast demand and staffing using pipelines and territory data.
