Job Title: Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist

### Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to provide routine clinical and technical support under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers. The role includes assisting with patient care, performing blood specimen collection, preparing specimens, obtaining vital signs, supporting diagnostic testing, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a safe and efficient clinical environment.

### Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) certification preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Audiometry and vision screening certification preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
  
  

### Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare examination rooms and assist with patient intake and check-in
• Obtain and document patient vital signs and report abnormal findings
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection according to established procedures
• Prepare, label, and process laboratory specimens
• Conduct audiometry and vision screening tests as appropriate
• Maintain patient records, recall systems, and documentation accurately
• Support physicians and clinical staff during patient care activities
• Mentor and assist in training new staff on clinical procedures when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
