Minimum Qualifications Required
Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.
Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatrist residency program.
Board certified or Board eligible in Psychiatrist.
Must be able to be credentialed and privileged at the Oklahoma City Area health care facility and become a member of the medical staff.
Documentation of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required if working in Emergency Room, ICU or as a hospitalist Current DEA license and State CDS license, if required by the DEA.
Provide documentation of past insurance carriers and contact information during the past 5 years and maintain current professional liability insurance coverage in the amount of $1 million per occurrence and $3 million aggregate per provider.
Documentation regarding rubella and measles immunity, negative tuberculosis skin tests and the CDC’s recommended
vaccines for Healthcare Workers. Shall maintain standards of personal hygiene and grooming such that his/her image as a physician is compatible with the expectations of the on-site Clinical Director.

Have completed at least 5 years of work experience post residency with at least 2 years in pediatrics

- Current EHR? EHR similar to VA, based on RPMS- Dragon Available. Transitioning to CERNER (mid-transition now). Separate EHR records in our EHR
- Typical diagnoses? Adverse Childhood events, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, some help with autistic children needing psych coverage, Bulimia, Anorexia as outpatients typically after inpatient treatment in OKC , occasionally crisis intervention( self harm)
- What support staff are available? Social workers, behavioral health techs
- What is the cancellation ratio? Depends- 20%. Transportation to inhouse visits is difficult for our patients.
- Patients per day? 12-16
- What is the typical visit length? Depends- for med refill stable 30 min or so. New patients hourly
- How much time is allotted for notes/admin work? 2-4 hours/week
- When last appointment of the day scheduled? Around 4pm, depending on the day
