Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients with improving daily living skills, mobility, strength, coordination, and independence
- Follow individualized treatment plans created by the Occupational Therapist
- Document patient progress accurately and timely
- Communicate patient updates with the supervising OT and care team
- Support patients with safe and effective therapeutic activities
- Follow facility, state, and federal guidelines
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Skilled nursing, rehab, long-term care, or geriatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused
- Ability to work well with an interdisciplinary care team
- Active California Occupational Therapy Assistant license required
- NBCOT COTA certification preferred
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Must be able to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- $44–$49 per hour
- 35 hours per week
- Monday–Friday
- No weekends
- Permanent full-time position
