Our client, a Catholic high school in the Bronx, is seeking a Director of Finance and Administration to join their team. The Director of Finance and Administration will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative and financial management of the organization. The successful candidate will be a hands-on and collaborative manager with proven experience in accounting, budgeting, contract and grants management, office administration and human resources.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee, maintain, and manage all accounting & finance functions.
- Maintain and review GL for accuracy.
- Journal Entries
- Cash management
- GL posting
- Manage a Billing and Finance Associate
- Coordinate and manage annual audit process. Review audited financials for accuracy.
- Maintain banking relationships.
- Annual budget process
- Annual forecast process
- Financial analysis
- Review all Financial aid applications and determine award amounts.
- Prepare reports and analysis for Finance committee and Board meetings.
- Create a statement for the annual report.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA in Accounting or related field. MBA preferred.
- Five to Seven years of experience
- Exceptional Customer Service
- Ability to multitask.
- Great organizational skills
- Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel)
- Bilingual a plus
The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000.00 - $130,000.00. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, office location as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills and certifications.
