Our client is a high-growth, premier professional landscaping company based in Highlands, North Carolina, serving the Highlands-Cashiers area for nearly 20 years. They offer a comprehensive range of services including landscape design, installation, maintenance, irrigation systems, water features, hardscapes, lighting, and turf and ornamental care; all delivered with a commitment to efficiency, safety, and environmental sensitivity.
The Position
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of landscaping projects, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role serves as the primary point of contact between clients, crews, subcontractors, and internal leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Manage the full lifecycle of landscaping projects from initial scoping and planning through installation, punch list, and client handoff, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met.
• Serve as the main client liaison, maintaining proactive communication, managing expectations, and resolving issues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Coordinate and supervise field crews, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring proper scheduling, resource allocation, and adherence to safety and quality standards
• Monitor project budgets, track costs against estimates, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability across the project portfolio
• Identify and manage project risks, prepare progress reports, and communicate updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on a regular basis Qualifications and Candidate Background The ideal candidate will have:
• 3 years of project management experience in landscaping, construction, or related field with a track record of on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Strong understanding of landscaping operations (design, installation, maintenance).
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate field teams with strong organization and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of project financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, and contracts.
