Social Impact & Sustainability Manager 12 MonthsSan Francisco, CA 94158 (3 days Onsite/hybrid)This is a hybrid position where the candidate will be expected to be in the office 3 days a week.The Manager, Social Impact & Sustainability Content & Program Delivery is part of the global Social Impact & Sustainability team, reporting to the Director, Program Delivery & Knowledge Management. This is a dynamic cross functional role that will collaborate with internal and external partners to tell meaningful stories about the ways in which together with our partners, lives out our mission of uplifting everyone, everywhere. In addition to driving content strategy, a key aspect of this role is to manage and create new pathways for improved cross-functional knowledge sharing, particularly around regional connectivity. The ideal candidate has experience in both social impact storytelling and knowledge management, with strong creative, writing, and strategic thinking skills.Essential Functions: Partner internally and externally with relevant stakeholders to source, curate, and produce social impact stories that engage and inspire target audiencesCraft and curate high-quality written pieces for select stories, including case studies, blog posts, and other storytelling formatsEffectively lead interactions with a range of clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met in impact storytelling assetsLead a website redesign projectDevelop content strategies and coordinate cross-regional collaboration for key Social Impact & Sustainability programs and campaignsDevelop and improve channels and tools that enable better knowledge sharing across the Social Impact & Sustainability teamOversee and manage the budget for social impact content projectsMeasure and optimize the impact of social impact storytelling initiativesBasic Qualifications: 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor ' s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Master's, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred Qualifications: 5-8 years professional experience; experience in social impact, sustainability, marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field a plusExperience working in financial inclusion, financial education, small business empowerment, or sustainability preferredSkilled in creative production and social impact storytellingExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear and compelling narrativesExceptional professional writing and visual design skills with a strong portfolio of workExperience working on website redesignsProven track record in client and relationship managementStrong project management skills with attention to detailUnderstanding of information architecture and knowledge managementA team player and collaborator, able to work well with diverse global stakeholders in a matrixed environment, ranging from junior to executive levelExperience working on a global team with regional counterpartsAdvanced level of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required; Knowledge of Sharepoint a plusExceptional personal accountability and the highest of ethical standardsGrowth mindset with a commitment to curiosity and learning.#TB_EN#ZRCompany DescriptionFounded in 2002 by three former Monster.com executives; TalentBurst is an award-winning full-service Staffing Firm working directly with Fortune 500 companies in the US and Canada.
