About the Role
Role Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Analyst with strong expertise in Software Licensing and Software Asset Management (SAM) to support enterprise IT initiatives. The role will focus on managing software licensing compliance, optimizing entitlements, and driving efficiency through ServiceNow SAM (SAM Pro).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize software licensing for major vendors (Microsoft, cloud providers).
- Administer and configure ServiceNow SAM (SAM Pro preferred) to generate Effective License Positions (ELP).
- Reconcile entitlements vs. deployment data to ensure compliance.
- Create reporting and dashboards on software and asset positions.
- Analyze license data using Excel and other tools to identify gaps and risks.
- Partner with procurement and vendor management to review license agreements.
- Contribute to catalog requests and improve the end-user experience in ServiceNow.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership (up to SVP level).
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong Software Asset Management (SAM) expertise, including license metric analysis & entitlement reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM module (SAM Pro strongly preferred).
- Advanced Excel/data analysis and reporting skills.
- Good understanding of infrastructure and hardware impacts on licensing.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret software license agreements and contracts.

- Independent and proactive able to hit the ground running.
- Confident personality; able to challenge assumptions and defend analysis.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
