Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support high-volume recruiting efforts for manufacturing and production operations. This individual will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of manufacturing positions, partnering closely with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire top talent in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background recruiting for manufacturing or industrial organizations and is comfortable managing multiple requisitions while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for manufacturing, production, warehouse, maintenance, and skilled trades positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop recruiting strategies, and provide market insights.
- Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates through various recruiting channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, and other sourcing platforms.
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding activities.
- Maintain a high volume of open requisitions while ensuring timely communication with candidates and hiring teams.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
- Track recruiting metrics, provide status updates, and ensure accurate documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable employment laws throughout the hiring process.
- Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, and community outreach efforts as needed.
- Partner with HR and operations leaders to support workforce planning and hiring initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with significant experience recruiting for manufacturing, industrial, production, or skilled trades positions.
- Experience supporting high-volume hiring environments.
- Experience partnering directly with plant leadership and hiring managers.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, Greenhouse, or similar).
- Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other recruiting platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet hiring deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for multi-site manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of manufacturing workforce trends and labor market conditions.
- Experience with recruiting metrics and reporting.
- Previous experience supporting staffing for shift-based or hourly workforces.
