WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Network Engineer to manage and maintain our company's enterprise network and telephony services. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for handling advanced support issues, architecting, and strategizing our current and long-term technology requirements for the network, directing other staff through network incidents, and securing the overall network. Ultimately, you will be responsible for the functional management of our network, the delegation of tasks, and the resolution of network issues.
To ensure success as a Network Engineer, you should have extensive experience working with enterprise networks, high-level managerial skills, and advanced project management skills. A Top-class Network Engineer ensures the networking team performs as a cohesive unit, maintaining the stability and performance of the network. You will also be expected to support our VOIP telephony systems and cloud services. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Experience with both on-premises and cloud-based network services.
- Managing Internet Services Providers
- Collaborating with vendors and other staff to design and implement functional company networks.
- Installing and configuring networking hardware.
- Creating and implementing network security measures. Such as IDS/IPS, regularly running vulnerability scans, enabling URL filtering, and enabling port-level checks for approved hardware.
- Conduct regular network performance tests.
- Manage networking maintenance tasks.
- Dealing with escalated network support issues.
- Supporting telephony Services that are part of a cloud base call center, forwarding & porting of phone numbers.
- Drawing up network status reports and network site topology diagrams.
- Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer.
- Support services interruptions after hours and being a part of an on-call rotation.
- Supporting M&A integration work.
- Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Previous work experience as a networking engineer.
- Advanced knowledge of network operating systems, including Cisco, Fortinet, Azure Firewall, and Avaya IPoffice.
- Knowledge of networking hardware, including CPUs, wiring, and routers.
- Familiarity with communication and routing protocols.
- Familiarity with network analysis tools, including SolarWinds.
- Proficiency with coding languages, including Python and Perl.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
- High-level problem-solving and communication skills.
- Disciplined self-starter who can successfully bring projects and tasks to closure with a minimum of direction, guidance, and oversight.
- Team player with the ability to effectively interact with clients and peers in a positive, collaborative, and constructive manner
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
