JobResponsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales targets, including total booked order value and associated margin
- Generate sales pipeline by meeting outbound sales activity targets including daily phone calls, customer conversations, quote deliveries, and order conversions
- Contribute to team success against targets and collaborate with other sales reps
- Work closely with leadership to develop growth strategies for assigned territory
- Contact customers to follow up on leads generated through service engineers and other channels
- Respond to customer inquiries and act as their point of contact for PerkinElmer
- Develop product knowledge to effectively grow portfolio within territory
- Follow company best practices and processes and learn effective selling techniques
- Maintain sales pipeline and activity accurately in CRM tools
- Maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment
Critical Skills
- Must be results-driven and possess the ability to utilize exceptional negotiation skills
- Ability to work within a Team Selling Model and engage field-based resources as necessary to advance opportunities
- Strong communication skills (telephone & email)
- Aptitude to learn new systems and retain technical information
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships via the telephone and email
- Highly effective time management and organizational skills
- Process orientated, with a strong knowledge of selling, marketing & the customer care process
- 1 years of inside sales experience
- High school diploma
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience
- General knowledge of CRM systems is preferred. Salesforce.com experience is a plus.
- Relevant experience in the analytical instruments & consumables industry
- Relevant experience in laboratory or field service operations

Salary : $56,680 - $79,760
