What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Talent?
Our client, a Series A healthtech company, is hiring a Medical Assistant to support patient onboarding, clinical workflows, provider coordination, and ongoing patient engagement.
This role is based at their Denver, Colorado HQ (Hybrid). Candidates must be located in the Denver area!
In this role, you'll work alongside physicians, behavioral health providers, and care coordinators — all within a mission-driven startup environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage patient intake, scheduling, documentation, and EMR records in compliance with HIPAA and clinical protocols
- Coordinate care across patients, providers, and cross-functional teams — including referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up workflows
- Support providers during visits and monitor patient messages to ensure timely, high-quality responses
- Educate patients on care plans, technology platforms, and program expectations
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve patient experience and operational efficiency
What You Bring:
- CMA or RMA certification preferred
- 2 years in healthcare (primary care, behavioral health, pain management, or virtual care)
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems and digital health platforms
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
- Bilingual Spanish-English is a plus
