This pivotal role ensures products meet the highest safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manufacturing quality assurance, a proven track record of implementing QA programs, and leadership skills to promote a quality-focused culture.
- Design, implement, and enhance QA systems and procedures across manufacturing and distribution.
- Oversee product inspection, testing, and validation to ensure compliance with company standards, ISO 9001, and GMP regulations.
- Manage complaint and nonconformance processes, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Lead internal audit programs and serve as a key contact during customer and regulatory audits.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product development teams to identify quality risks and develop preventive solutions.
- Administer quality data systems, including document control and ERP-integrated QA modules.
- Apply statistical quality control (SPC) and data analysis to monitor trends and drive corrective/preventive measures.
- Track and report quality KPIs (e.g., defect rates, audit findings, CAPA closure rates) to leadership.
- Exercise authority to hold or release products based on established quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives by integrating QA processes into companywide efficiency projects.
- 3-5 years of quality assurance or quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of QA standards, compliance frameworks (ISO 9001, GMP), and audit protocols.
- Professional certification preferred: CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Proficiency with ERP/QA software systems, document control, and advanced Excel/analytics tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for executive reporting and training.
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies preferred.
