This role oversees the operations of our client's Randolph plant, focusing on the production of agricultural biosecurity products. Your leadership will ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing processes that meet customer demands and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Direct safety, planning, procurement, manufacturing, quality, warehousing, and shipping activities.
- Collaborate on production schedules and utilize MRP systems to minimize backorders.
- Supervise and motivate manufacturing personnel for efficient product production.
- Troubleshoot production and quality assurance issues.
- Establish and track goals for productivity and product quality improvements.
- Develop plans and budgets to enhance plant efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement cost-saving measures and streamline operations for maximum productivity.
- Oversee maintenance of quality and manufacturing records, including inventory and SOPs.
- Manage QA processes, including raw materials and finished goods release.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with EPA, DOT, FDA, and other agencies.
- Approve expenditures and conduct vendor audits as necessary.
- Communicate schedules and advise on customer service billing requirements.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Participate in budgeting processes and manage expenditures to meet budgetary requirements.
- Evaluate ROI for product development and capital investments.
- Foster a positive and ethical work environment.
- B.S. in Engineering or Business field.
- Experience in budgeting and operations management.
- Experience with EPA-regulated products or aerosol filling operations.
- Minimum of seven years' experience in managing production, operations, and maintenance.
- Strong interpersonal skills for motivating teams.
- Ability to communicate with regulatory bodies, customers, vendors, and staff.
- Ability to interpret scientific data and results.
