What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Generalist position at Talent Wave Associates?
Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team, focusing on aligning HR strategies with business objectives. This role is pivotal in fostering an inclusive work environment and driving the employee experience from recruitment to offboarding.
- Act as a strategic HR partner to leadership, promoting an employee-centered culture and supporting business goals with essential tools and resources.
- Oversee the entire employee life cycle, including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, performance management, training, development, and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws such as FMLA, Wage & Hour, I-9, EEO1, COBRA, and Workers' Comp.
- Manage Fleet and Auto Allowance programs, including annual MVRs and insurance certifications.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage assigned HR focus areas, and drive the internship program.
- Process payroll accurately and punctually, manage employee data changes, incentives, investigations, and employment verifications.
- Administer benefits programs, including new hire enrollment, open enrollment, life events, and leaves of absence.
- Support performance management, employee development, and learning initiatives, including budgeting and securing grants/funding.
