Pay: $17/hr

Job Summary

The Hand Sprayer is responsible for applying coatings, paints, and finishes to manufactured parts using hand spray equipment. This role requires attention to detail, a focus on quality, and adherence to safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply paints, primers, and coatings to parts and components using hand spray guns.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking parts prior to spraying.
• Mix and adjust coating materials to achieve proper consistency, color, and coverage.
• Inspect finished parts for defects such as runs, thin coverage, or contamination.
• Perform touch-ups and minor rework to meet quality standards.
• Maintain spray booths, equipment, and work areas by performing routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE usage and handling of chemicals.
• Document production activity, material usage, and quality checks.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve finishing issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hand spraying, powder coating, or finishing preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and standard operating instructions.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a manufacturing environment.
