Job Title: Quality Auditor
Shift: 3rd 10pm-8am
Location: Rockford, MI

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Auditor to join our Production Manufacturing team. This role ensures compliance with customer specifications, supports continuous improvement, and helps maintain our commitment to excellence.
Position Summary:
The Quality Auditor will assist in verifying product quality through dimensional checks, SPC checks, and visual inspections. This role provides assurance of quality standards, supports personnel training, and helps with process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform dimensional verification of production products using metrology equipment and gages.
Record dimensional checks, SPC checks, and visual inspections in Quality Control Reports (QRC).
Assist Supervisors or Process Techs with first/last shot approvals.
Ensure all job totes are returned to Quality Rack after completion.
Document quality issues observed on the production floor.
Perform Mold Press Inspector/Operator Level 1–4 responsibilities.
Provide training support for new hires and assist with orientation.
Translate and communicate work instructions to team members.
Perform quality control audits on in-process and finished products.
Support Inspector/Operators by providing feedback and quality updates.
Log and maintain daily production and quality data.
Assist with scheduling break relief and maintain communication with supervisors.
Follow Red Rabbit procedures and other quality initiatives as assigned.
Promote a positive and quality-focused work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong understanding of manufacturing procedures and quality systems.
Knowledge of measurement systems, blueprints, and geometric dimensioning/tolerancing.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to perform multiple tasks, sorting operations, and inspections.
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
Overtime as required, with excellent attendance and reliability.
